Pasture-Raised Eggs for Every Season of Life
Eggs are one of the simplest real foods a family can keep in the kitchen. They provide high-quality protein, choline, vitamin B12, selenium, vitamin D, vitamin A, lutein, zeaxanthin, and healthy fats — nutrients that matter for children, parents, and aging adults alike.
Why Pasture Matters
Published research has shown that eggs from hens raised on pasture can differ nutritionally from conventional eggs, especially in areas like vitamin E, omega-3 fats, antioxidants, and omega-6 to omega-3 balance.
We have not independently tested our own eggs yet, so we are not making a lab-tested nutrient claim. But we do know how our hens are raised: outdoors, on pasture, with sunshine, movement, forage, fresh air, and daily care.
Clean Nest Boxes. Gentle Handling. Better Egg Care.
Our hens lay in roll-out nest boxes, which helps keep the eggs cleaner from the beginning. Because of that, we are able to handle the eggs gently instead of relying on aggressive washing.
Freshly laid eggs naturally have a protective coating often called the bloom or cuticle. We believe clean nest-box design, careful gathering, and gentle handling are better ways to care for the egg from the start.
Local Eggs, Gathered With Care
Pure Pasture Farms eggs are available for local customers through farm pickup, farmers market pickup, and local delivery when available. Eggs are not shipped, because we want them arriving fresh, clean, and in the best condition possible.
Whether you are feeding growing children, stocking the fridge for quick breakfasts, or looking for simple nutrient-dense food as you age, pasture-raised eggs are one of the most practical real foods you can bring home.
