We are Melissa and Travis Cole, along with our family, and Pure Pasture Farms began with a simple conviction: real food matters.
Like you, we care deeply about what we feed our family. That’s why we’ve made it our life’s work to grow clean, nutrient-dense food that nourishes both people and the land.
After nearly 25 years in the tech world, we grew increasingly concerned about our health and how much of it came down to food. That concern turned into conviction: we could do better by raising food the way it was meant to be raised.
Now, as we pass our 10-year anniversary, we’re seeing firsthand how regenerative farming brings life back to the soil, supports healthier animals, and helps families eat with more confidence.
In 2014, we took a leap of faith and started transforming our land into a regenerative, pasture-based farm. Since then, our loyal customers have helped turn that vision into a reality.
Today, we’re grateful to partner with like-minded local farmers to provide thousands of families with clean, ethical, and nutrient-dense food — direct from our farms to your table.

It is a simple conversation from the pasture about why we farm this way, what we’ve learned, and why real food matters so much to our family.

Pure Pasture Farms was built around a simple belief: food should nourish people, respect animals, and leave the land better than we found it.
We believe the best path forward is not more confusing labels, shortcuts, or industrial food systems. It is a return to real food, raised with care, by farmers you can know and trust.
Healthy grasslands are the foundation of thriving ecosystems, healthy animals, and strong communities. By moving animals across fresh pasture, giving the land time to rest, and working with nature instead of against it, we help rebuild soil and protect the resources entrusted to us.
This is regenerative farming in practice: plants, animals, soil, and people all working together in a living system.
We believe every living thing was created with purpose. As farmers, our responsibility is to care for the land, care for the animals, and produce food in a way that honors both.
As eaters, we all have the opportunity to ask better questions, learn where our food comes from, and support farms that are doing the hard work the right way.
What we eat matters. Real food raised on real pasture gives families a better foundation for long-term health, strength, and confidence at the table.
We believe one of the most practical steps a family can take is choosing clean, nutrient-dense foods from farms committed to natural, ethical, and transparent practices.
The food world is full of confusing labels and slick marketing. At Pure Pasture Farms, we believe in plain truth over pretty packaging.
We earn your trust by being honest about what we do, clear about how your food is raised, and faithful to the standards we live and farm by.
Every order, every referral, and every returning family helps make this work possible. Thank you for choosing food raised with care from farmers working to nurture the land, the animals, and the families we serve.
