We are Melissa and Travis Cole, along with our family, and Pure Pasture Farms began with a simple conviction: real food matters.
We are Melissa and Travis Cole, along with our family. Pure Pasture Farms is our work, our calling, and our way of helping families get back to real food raised with care.
Like you, we care deeply about what we feed our family. That concern became the foundation of Pure Pasture Farms: clean, nutrient-dense food raised in a way that respects the land, the animals, and the families we serve.
We believe food should be simple, honest, and nourishing. Our goal is to help families move away from confusing labels and industrial shortcuts and back toward real farm food from people they can know and trust.
Pure Pasture Farms began with a simple conviction: real food matters. What started as a family concern became a farm built around faith, stewardship, and a better way to feed families.
After nearly 25 years in the tech world, we grew increasingly concerned about our health and how much of it came down to food. That concern turned into conviction: we could do better by raising food the way it was meant to be raised.
In 2014, we took a leap of faith and started transforming our land into a regenerative, pasture-based farm. Since then, our loyal customers have helped turn that vision into a reality.
Today, we are grateful to partner with like-minded local farmers to provide thousands of families with clean, ethical, and nutrient-dense food β direct from our farms to your table.
Together, letβs nurture our planet, one bite at a time.
Want to hear how Pure Pasture Farms began? We sat down with the Grazing Podcast, produced by our local Robertson Cheatham Farmers Co-op, to share more about our story of faith, family, and the leap into regenerative farming.
It is a simple conversation from the pasture about why we farm this way, what we have learned, and why real food matters so much to our family. The episode is hosted by Robertson Cheatham Farmers Co-op.

Pure Pasture Farms was built around a simple belief: food should nourish people, respect animals, and leave the land better than we found it.
We believe the best path forward is not more confusing labels, shortcuts, or industrial food systems. It is a return to real food, raised with care, by farmers you can know and trust.
Healthy grasslands are the foundation of thriving ecosystems, healthy animals, and strong communities. By moving animals across fresh pasture, giving the land time to rest, and working with nature instead of against it, we help rebuild soil and protect the resources entrusted to us.
We believe every living thing was created with purpose. As farmers, our responsibility is to care for the land, care for the animals, and produce food in a way that honors both.
We use pasture-based farming practices that help rebuild soil, protect grasslands, and work with nature instead of against it.
Animals are given fresh air, sunshine, pasture, and room to express their natural behaviors.
We raise clean, nutrient-dense food to help families eat with more confidence and less confusion.
We believe in plain truth over pretty packaging, with clear standards and honest communication.
We see farming as a responsibility to care well for the land, animals, and families entrusted to us.
We deliver real farm food to families across Middle Tennessee and beyond through local delivery, pickup, and shipping.
Every order, every referral, and every returning family helps make this work possible. Thank you for choosing food raised with care from farmers working to nurture the land, the animals, and the families we serve.
