Bone Broth Recipe with Pure Pasture Farms' Beef Soup Bones

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 pounds of Pure Pasture Farms' Beef Soup Bones
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 2 carrots, roughly chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the beef soup bones on a baking sheet and roast them for 30 minutes. This step helps enhance the flavor of the broth.
  2. In a large stockpot or slow cooker, combine the roasted soup bones, chopped onion, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaves, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add enough water to cover the ingredients in the pot.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let it simmer for at least 6-8 hours, or even up to 24 hours for a more concentrated flavor.
