Good morning, Melissa here from Pure Pastures,

As we prepare for the holidays, many of us enter a season where we reconnect with the fabric of what's really important in our lives. As we celebrate family and friends during this season, our thoughts seem to naturally pause to reflect on what the past year has been and shift forward to what this new year will soon be.

This is the process we are in at the farm right now...  reflecting to learn from the tremendous challenges of 2020 while at the same time recognizing there has been some good news amongst all the "bad".

One thing that is clear is that YOU, our customers, and supporters of all farms involved in Regenerative Farming, are making a huge and positive impact toward truly changing our food system.

There has never been more awareness that food can be raised in a way that is healthy for both the people who consume it and the soil where it is raised.

NEVER!

Maybe you've seen it, this year's Netflix film called “Kiss the Ground” that awakened millions to the transformational benefits of "Regenerative Agriculture".

As more people awake, more and more are beginning to understand that the miracle of true regenerative farming goes far beyond that of the impacts of organic practices.

This is great 2020 news for those of us who are working to see meaningful change in our food system, and this is where I come back to you.

While Pure Pastures and other farms across the country are busy producing and educating, it's INFORMED CONSUMERS who are fueling these changes.

We are thankful for your trust, for your support of our farms, our beliefs, and the foods that we produce.

If you'd like to get a better idea of the movement you're a part of, you should check Kiss the Ground on Netflix when you have some downtime during the holidays.

By watching this, you'll get a better understanding of the world changing impacts of regenerative farming and the great news of the changes that we're seeing.

Thanks so much, and have a great Christmas week.

Melissa (farm owner)
