  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 sesame seed buns

For the Cranberry Sauce:

For the Brussels Sprout Coleslaw:

  • 2 cups shredded Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Make the Cranberry Sauce:

  • In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar, and orange zest.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the cranberries are soft and the sauce has thickened (about 10-15 minutes).
  • Allow to cool.

2. Prepare the Brussels Sprout Coleslaw:

  • In a bowl, mix shredded Brussels sprouts with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and mustard.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Toss well to combine and set aside in the fridge to chill.

3. Cook the Turkey Burgers:

  • In a bowl, mix ground turkey with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Form into 4 patties.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

4. Assemble the Burgers:

  • Toast the sesame seed buns lightly.
  • Place a turkey patty on each bun.
  • Top each patty with a generous spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  • Add a heap of Brussels sprout coleslaw on top of the cranberry sauce.
